What it does
Track TV shows and movies in one place
- TV release reminders
- Episode release notifications help you keep up with the shows you follow. Notifications and quiet hours are currently free, along with all other features.
- Bring your history with you

- Stats built from real records
- History, streaks and charts drawn only from what you actually recorded — never padded out with estimates.
- Discover, with the reason shown

Your data
Yours, and easy to take back
emberslate stores your account, library and community activity so they follow you between devices. You can delete the whole account from inside the app or from the web — it removes your profile, library, progress, history, community activity and settings, and it cannot be undone.
Questions
Before you download
What is emberslate?
emberslate is a TV and movie tracker for Android. Organize a watchlist, mark episodes as watched, rate titles and explore your viewing history and stats. Your library and progress sync across devices, and you can follow friends and discuss a title or a specific episode. emberslate helps you track what you watch; it does not stream movies or TV shows.
Can I download emberslate now?
Yes. emberslate is available now on Google Play for Android. Open the Play Store listing to install it on your device.
Is emberslate free?
Yes. All features in emberslate are currently free, including release reminders, quiet hours, themes, advanced stats and your full timeline history. There is no advertising in the app, and we do not sell personal data or share it with advertisers or data brokers. Pricing may change in the future as the app grows; we will explain any changes before they take effect.
Does emberslate support release reminders?
Yes. emberslate sends episode release notifications for the shows you follow, and quiet hours let you control when they arrive. Both are currently free. Push notifications are optional: turn them off on a device and its push token is removed.
Can I use emberslate instead of TV Time or Trakt?
emberslate does the same core job: tracking the shows and films you watch, episode by episode, with a watchlist, ratings, viewing history and stats. If you have used TV Time or Trakt, you can bring your existing library with you and review the matches before anything is applied. All features are currently free and there is no advertising. emberslate is not affiliated with TV Time or Trakt.
Can I import from TV Time or Trakt?
Yes. You can import an existing library from TV Time or Trakt, review the matched titles and apply the import without overwriting existing entries. The uploaded file is read in memory and is not saved as a server file, and the review staging is deleted when you apply or cancel the import, or automatically after seven days.
Does tracking work offline?
Yes. Episode progress you mark in emberslate while offline queues up on your device and syncs when you reconnect. Cached copies of your profile, watchlist and progress let the app open with no connection, and your library and progress sync across devices when you are online.
How do I delete my emberslate account?
Delete it from inside the app under Settings, or on the web at emberfoldlabs.com/emberslate/delete-account if you no longer have the app installed. The web page confirms it is you with a one-time code sent to your email. Either way, your profile, library, progress, history, community activity and settings are removed, and it cannot be undone.
